Assume spoilers for the entire game, both Stan and Lion sides, all the bonus content, etc.

I finished Lion side! I started it on Hard at first, but after the 50-something game overs I got before finally beating the fight with Stan, Mary, and Rutee, I decided Hard was too hard for me. So instead I just went through on Normal, and oh god I was crying so much once all the boring missions were over and stuff started getting serious again after the fake ending. I blame Hikaru Midorikawa's acting. And the voice itself, but we do not need to discuss how much I like his voice for Lion and Judas and how indifferent I am to the voice he uses in everything else I've heard. The point is, I cried, and I beat it.
And then I started Hard mode! Except then I changed it to Evil after Johnny left the party... And now I'm still on Evil, and dying to every random battle. Bosses are okay, though. I actually changed it to Evil because I managed to get a friend to play the game, and after he completely obliterated the first Batista battle (which I had a pretty hard time with on my first playthrough) I told him to do it again on Hard. Seemed a lot more like my experience on Normal when he was on Hard. :( I blame the fact that I was level 18. But anyway. After that he decided to fight every boss on Hard while keeping it on Normal for uh, normal battles. I couldn't let him one-up me!
I feel better now, though, because he was streaming it while playing, and then he fought Lion. And umm. The game overs were hilarious. He's just so vicious, and for my friend would actually stop, while running to go kill Philia or someone, and kill Rutee with a spell. Every time she was revived. My experience was much more friendly, though... I had to control Rutee for mine because Rutee kept dying instantly and doesn't know how to dodge, but it was pretty relaxed once I switched to her. I'd just sit around casting Raise Dead and Cure, and maybe Ice Tornado here and there if I had free time, and he'd mostly ignore me.
If he got close I'd just run the other side and he'd get distracted by someone else. Though I ocassionally made a mistake and thought MY Lion (who was actually Stan) was the angry one or vice versa, which lead to me running away from my own ally and thinking my own ally was running my way a few times. Which, um, lead to one or two deaths. But I really didn't have any problems other than that. So yeah, my pride has been... regained or whatever after having a much easier time with that than he did, and on a higher difficulty.

Still making it on Evil. I was starting to get really afraid of the boss fight in Helraios (I just got to Helraios by the way) since it's such a whore even on Normal, but then I realized that the effects of Blast Material and Rutee's Rune Glove stack with each other. THIS MEANS: I can sit there with those and a Flash Material equipped, chargespamming invincibly for Life Discharge. And it won't take that long! And I have Escape Air to get up above all the lasers to activate it, so I don't think I really have to worry about it anymore. But god I need to stop playing this game I'm supposed to be replaying Rebirth and/or Destiny 2 but now I want to do Single Play mode on Chaos right after this playthrough and fight Barbatos on absurd difficulties and and and. :(

Played some ToDR! Actually, hours of it, as this was most of the weekend before the moving nonsense really started (AKA before I packed my PS2 and we drove the TV to newplace). I uh, only got up to Noischtat, I think. There was a lot of dying going on since I was continuing my Single Play Lion Side Chaos playthrough. See, it's so important it needed to be capitalized. But yes. Demon's Lance Zero is the only way to survive anything that casts spells. I don't know what I'll do once I start fighting enemies that cast faster than me. :(
I've also been using Gen'eijin a bunch of times followed by Pikohan for instantcast cuteness. And uh. Radislowe was made of Stone Wall and a bit of Marian (I don't know, it kept the stupid energy ball enemies away). And apparently Marian has invincible frames like Gen'eijin does. Could be useful, though with how slow it is I doubt it'll ever be a better option than Gen'eijin.
So yeah, Noischtat. Got lost looking for sweets etc. LILITH WAS INSANE. Or seemed insane at first! 17280 HP and dealt like, 2.5x my max HP with a simple smack from her ladle. At least my original successful strategy of spamming Stone Wall still worked, but with a litte bit of superfun HIENRENZANING HER INTO THE CEILING JUST BECAUSE I COULD. I love having tons of CC so much.
